What is SIA ACS and why am I being asked for it?

In 2006. the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme launched. Global QA Consultants assisted the first security guarding and door supervisor companies to achieve the status of SIA Approved Contractor. We have been members of the British Security Industry Association since 2000. We work with micro-large organisations across all sectors of the industry assisting in the implementation of International and relevant British Standards.

Since then we have built our client base across the security industry to reach over 500 organisations. Some 250 plus of those have become SIA Approved Contractors.

Security Industry British Standards & Codes of Practice
There are British Standards (Codes of Practice), for most sectors within the security industry. Each Standard provides a framework for best practice to raise standards. In many cases, the Police, Fire & Rescue services and the insurance industry demand these Standards.
